As beautiful and original as bouyon was in its true state, it sadly suffers the touch that has changed the rest of society for the worst. Volgarity, carelessness and disregard have deadly Dominican bouyon a deathly blow.

But those of us that had the honour of knowing it in its youth will always feel the pulse of that cowbell deep within us.

I dare say that there are some really good ones, lately. You should check out the playlist. Don’t write it off just yet.

I think society has changed the genre not the other way around.

I truly believe Bouyon is here to stay.
